Position Summary

Dot’s Events is seeking a motivated and energetic Seasonal Delivery Driver Assistant to join our team for the busy event season. The primary role of this position is to assist our delivery driver with the transportation and setup of event rental items. This job involves heavy lifting, working in warm temperatures, and a considerable amount of walking and moving.

Job Duties

• Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading event rental items, including tables, chairs, and other equipment.
• Ensure that all items are securely loaded and transported safely to event locations.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of event items at various venues.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients during deliveries and setups.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Work Conditions

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in warm temperatures and outdoor environments.
• Capable of walking and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Dot’s Events warehouse.

Education, Skills & Requirements

• Strong physical stamina and ability to handle demanding physical tasks.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during deliveries or setups.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Possible overtime hours during the busy season.
